The mission
Everything the company runs on that is not the product itself: the self-hosted repository where our datasets, trained models, source and container images live, and the internal tools that keep a small team out of spreadsheets. You will build it, run it, and own it — at a scale where one person genuinely can. This is not the seat that gets demoed. It is the one everyone else depends on.
The stack you'll live in
What you'll own
- Run the repository — datasets, trained models, source and container images: storage, registries, access, and backups you have actually restored from.
- Build and keep the internal tools the company runs on — hiring, issue tracking, firmware records, compliance, billing.
- Automate what people currently do by hand, starting with whatever is costing someone the most hours this week.
- Write the runbook for everything you build, so it survives your holiday.
- Keep it boring on purpose — this is the layer that must never be the reason a product line slips.
What we're looking for
- 1–3 years writing production code — or less, with work we can actually look at: internships, real side projects, open source.
- Comfortable across a stack: an API in Python or Node, a screen in React, and the Dockerfile that ships both.
- At home on Linux and the command line — you have run something you built on a real server and kept it up.
- You finish things, and you write down how they work. Both count for more here than any one framework.
Signals that set you apart
- Self-hosting for real: object storage, container registries, CI runners, backups — or a homelab you genuinely maintain.
- GCP / AWS, infrastructure-as-code, or an internal tool you built that a team actually used.
