Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE-2)
The platform is built in Gurugram; the mission is won on site — that is your ground.
The mission
Our platform protects things the nation cannot afford to lose — and no two deployments are the same. The FDE is the person we send in: part product mind, part champion, embedded with the customer, building the last mile on the core product's SDKs and APIs until the system fits their mission exactly. This is sovereign, security-driven work: it matters that it is built here, runs here, and answers here. You own the outcome — and you carry what the field teaches you back into the product.
The world you'll work in
What you'll own
- Embed with the institutions we serve — forces, cities, critical infrastructure — and own their outcome end to end, from the first site survey to a control room that runs on our platform every day.
- Build the last mile yourself: customisations, integrations and workflows on the core product's SDKs and APIs — delivered to the customer's need, never a fork of the product.
- Be the change agent inside the customer's walls: train operators, win over sceptics, and redesign the daily routine the system slots into. Adoption is the deliverable, not installation.
- Carry the field home — turn what deployments teach you into sharp, specific product asks the core team can build.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years across product, solutions or forward-deployed engineering — you think like a product person and ship like an engineer.
- Hands-on enough to build on SDKs and APIs: scripting, integration, data plumbing. You do not wait for a developer.
- A champion's temperament — you can stand in front of a demanding institutional customer, own the room, and own the miss.
- You want the nation's most important security-driven work. Sovereignty is not a buzzword to you; it is why the work matters.
Signals that set you apart
- Government, defence, PSU or critical-infrastructure deployments — you have made software live inside a large institution.
- Change-management scars: a rollout where the hard part was people, and you got it adopted anyway.
- Comfort travelling and working on customer sites for weeks at a stretch.
